Mountain Dew
I like to have a mountain dew every morning for breakfast.
It helps to start my day off in a good way. If I don't have one,
I can get a little grouchy.

Cold weather
My favorite season is summer. I love the warm weather.
Winter is fun because of snow but it gets to cold to be enjoyable.
Also, during the winter people get sick a lot easier and I don't like being sick.

Last weekend...
On Friday night I went to a friends house and stayed the night. I didn't sleep so I was tired and not feeling good the next day. Saturday night I babysat for my cousin and got home at 2. Sunday I went to church then to Constances house and watched movies all day and night. This was not the most interesting weekend.

My weekends...
On my weeknds I usually go with my best friends. A lot of times we go out to eat, drive around, or go to a party. We love to stay the night together..sometimes just to get out of our own house.

Technology
I think technology has made my life better because it is helpful with almost everything in todays world. For example, the internet can help with research, answering questions, finding pictures, or even talking with friends. Also, with a cell phone you can call someone in emergency. Lots of other types of technology is very helpful also.

One Wish

Favorite object
My most favorite object that I own would have to be my phone.
I am always using it and it can come in handy quite often.
People say teens are to caught up in the new technology, which
can be true but it doesn't hurt to use it once in a while.

Last Night's Decision
I could almost guarantee who was going to win the election before it happened, I had a special feeling Barack Obama had already won it. I was correct. Although, I was wanting the election to turn the other way and John McCain be on top. The country will change now, and there is no way of changing that...Obama is in charge. I am curious about what happens with Obama and how our counrty changes. It will be an adventure.

Election Day
Elcetion day is so important to Americans today because this determines the president of our country. The president has a major effect on what happens with our counrty, meaning he can change the life of anyone. Each decision makes a change on many things, whether its big or small. I think if you don't vote...you can't complain about who gets president.

America's Dependence on Foreign Oil
According to the NRDC, America spends more than $200,000 per minute on foreign oil -- $13 million per hour. More than $25 billion a year goes for Persian Gulf imports alone. This NRDC analysis considers oil demand and supply projections and how our current policy of oil dependence effects our economy and security.
The US only accounts for 11% of the worlds production of oil. With this, the US is hit hard by the dependence of oil. We simply cannot drill our way out of this continous problem.
According to David Saied...The high price of oil has nothing to do with its origin; the price of oil is determined in international markets. Even if the United States were to produce 100% of the oil it consumes, the price would be the same if the worldwide supply and demand of oil were to remain the same.
The produced price of oil is the same price in every country, because it is a commodity. The only thing changing the price is each counrty has it's prices for labor and land that may be added to the total price of the barrel.
In my opinion, I think people need to slow down on their use of oil. Oil will soon be gone! And we need to start looking for another source that can fill in the place of oil.
